We are seeking an organized, passionate, and resourceful Wedding Planner to join our team and bring dream weddings to life in Greece’s most stunning locations. (May – October)
We are a well established tourism and arts company of 3-4 people based and operating in North Greece. Since 2017 we have planned and captured more than 60 weddings on Thassos and other islands, and we are growing our numbers and expanding year by year.
This position offers you a unique opportunity to live and work on a Greek island (Thassos) as well as sometimes travelling to other Greek islands and places (all costs are covered by us). You will help and eventually experience young couples in one of their most unforgettable and unique day of their lives.
You will guide and help couples from the first day, to their dream wedding in Greece.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of wedding planning, from initial consultations to the day of the event.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget, creating a personalized plan that reflects their dream wedding.
- Source and liaise with venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure top-quality services and timely delivery.
- Manage wedding timelines, budgets, and logistics to guarantee a smooth and stress-free process for the couple.
- Obtain necessary permits for beach weddings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the decoration and photography teams to ensure all elements come together seamlessly.
- Provide creative ideas and solutions to enhance the wedding experience while adhering to client preferences.
- Be on-site during the event to supervise the setup, manage vendors, and troubleshoot any last-minute issues.

Requirements
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and vendors.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Greek is a strong advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Willingness to travel to various beach locations across Greece and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Optional
- Proven experience as a wedding planner or event coordinator, preferably in destination or beach weddings.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
- Additional Languages are a plus (Greek, Romanian, German, other).
- University degree in Tourism, Communications, Economics, or Business Management.
- Certification in wedding planning or event management.
- Past working experience in tourism, the Wedding industry, in customer service, or in sales.
- Some creative ability and taste, knowledge of design or decoration will be a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing tools or photography to assist in promoting services.

Job Responsibilities
- -Design and execute stunning wedding decorations tailored to each couple’s unique vision and theme.
- Set up and arrange decor elements, including floral arrangements, arches, table settings, lighting, and seating areas, at beach locations.
- Collaborate with our wedding planners, and other vendors to ensure seamless integration of decor with the overall event.
- Source materials and decorations within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Create unique handmade decorative creations to add to our arsenal of decorations.
- Adapt designs to suit different weather conditions, locations, and cultural/religious traditions.
- Oversee and execute the setup and teardown of decorations, ensuring no damage to the environment or venue.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, delivering exceptional service throughout the process.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a wedding decorator or similar role, preferably in outdoor or beach wedding settings.
- Strong sense of aesthetics and creativity with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding of color schemes, themes, and spatial arrangement.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Physical ability to lift and transport decor items and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team and clients.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable decoration practices.
- Good understanding of English (knowledge of Greek is a plus).
